Tenkiller Golf "Donates the Course" to Blackgum Fire Dept. A weekend of great golf, great prizes, and a great lunch wound up helping the Blackgum Volunteer Fire Dept. over $1,700. Tenkiller Golf Club "donated the course" for the weekend of June 12 A Friday evening golf "horse race" and 36 holes of tournament and scramble golf was played on Saturday and Sunday with just a small bout of rain on Sunday morning. A Friday evening kick off party was held at Kim & Rhonda Hutson's and an enjoyable lunch was held at Dixie Reed's on Sunday afternoon. There was prize money that was won on all 3 days and all was graciously donated back to the department. "I appreciate all of the people that helped make this event successful" said George Harris, Vice Chairman of the BVFD. "There was a lot of work that took place behind the scenes that made it happen." Tenkiller Golf Club is located 1-½ miles East of the Highway 82 & 100 junction at the southern gateway to Lake Tenkiller.
