Tenkiller Golf Club - Duckpin Bowling

Welcome to the Duck Club, the first duckpin bowling center west of the Mississippi. Never heard of duckpin bowling? You're not alone. The game was started at the turn of the 20th Century in Baltimore (click here for a history of duckpin bowling), and remains popular in parts of the eastern U.S. and Canada. Duckpins is played on a standard, 63-foot lane with scoring (now automated) that is identical to the tenpins bowling that everyone is familiar with. However, duckpins are shorter and a little fatter looking…like a duck? The big difference in the game is the bowling ball, which, with a 5" diameter, is smaller and weighs just 3 pounds 12 ounces compared to the 13 to 16-pound balls used in tenpins. You can imagine that this is a popular game for seniors and young people, but skilled and aggressive bowlers will love the challenge of this game. In fact, nobody has ever rolled a perfect 300 game in duckpins. Come in and see if you can do it.
